  • Three-layer coating of exterior surfaces

Optional Features

  • The enclosure can be further enhanced to be able to withstand higher wind loads or severe environments by using alternative construction materials such as marine type aluminum or 316L stainless steel.
  • The building can also be designed to be blast resistant as well as purge and pressurized.
  • HVAC: Heating and ventilation systems inclusive of fan assembly and air-conditioning units.
  • E&I: Electrical items including lights, light switches, and receptacles. Power & instrumentation wiring, including such as pressure and temperature switches. Panels and junction boxes. Wiring instrumentation such as pressure and temperature switches.
  • Fire protection and suppression systems, including gas and flame detectors, horn and light strobes and sprinkler piping, outside/outside mounted fire suppression cabinet.
  • Packaging: Complete assembly of equipment, piping and fittings, valves, fuel tanks, and other components on a common skid base.

CAse Study

fire-rated enclosure

This is one a of few enclosures built for installation on a cruise ship. As such, it is in compliance with Lloyd’s Bureau requirements. The enclosure meets A60 fire-rating criteria, and provides 30 dBa noise reduction.

Some of the project highlights:
  • Radiator (10,000 lbs.) integrated into the roof, allowing for an easy access for any component removal given the limited space around the enclosure.
  • 12” round corners for safety purposes.
  • UL-142 double wall vertical fuel tank installed inside the enclosure.
  • A60-certified single and double doors.
  • Motor-operated A60 fire-rated dampers.
  • Water mist eliminators.
  • All electrical junction boxes meet IEC standards.
